See the original statue of ‘David,’ Michelangelo’s iconic Florentine masterpiece, inside the Accademia Gallery on a 1-hour and 15 minutes tour! Skip the line with a priority-entrance ticket, and head inside to learn about some of the finest pieces of Renaissance art in the world. See Michelangelo’s unfinished ‘Prigioni’ and ‘San Matteo’ sculptures, gaze in wonder at ‘David’ and discover intriguing works by artists like Botticelli, Lippi and more.

Meet your guide outside the Accademia Gallery in central Florence, and then head inside with your fast-track entrance ticket. The museum is home to some of the finest works of Renaissance artwork in the world, so lines to enter are often long. Your reserved skip-the-line ticket allows you to bypass the entrance lines, meaning you spend more time viewing the art than standing in line.

As you walk around inside, listen to stories and history about the wealth of artwork contained within the Accademia Gallery’s walls. Works by Renaissance superstar Michelangelo are given pride of place inside the museum, and your guide’s commentary focuses on the much-loved Florentine artist. Admire his famously unfinished sculptures – Prigioni and San Matteo – and then gaze in awe at the statue of David that dominates the central gallery.

Ever the crowd pleaser, David was created by Michelangelo when he was just in his twenties, fresh from the glory of carving La Pietà. Sculpted entirely from local Carrara marble, the statue of the nude biblical hero is incredible to behold with life-like veins and muscles carved to precision as had never been done before. Standing at a lofty height of 17 feet (5.17 meters), the statue of David became a symbol of freedom and independence for the city.

After admiring David, visit other rooms with your guide to learn about other Renaissance artists such as Botticelli and Lippi. When your tour finishes, you can stay inside the museum for as long as you wish, discovering collections of artwork from the Middle Ages as well as the Renaissance. The Accademia Gallery is also home to the Museum of Musical Instruments, which is worth visiting independently.

Skip the line at Florence’s Uffizi Gallery to witness its key masterpieces on this 1.5-hour small-group tour. Avoid the long entrance lines and, with an art-expert guide, admire paintings by masters including Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli and Michelangelo, plus select other works. Ogle Botticelli’s ‘Birth of Venus’, Vinci’s ‘Annunciation’ and more as your guide unpicks their meaning and the genius of their creators. Plus, visit the Uffizi's rooftop terrace to admire the splendid city views.
Enjoy a more intimate experience on this small-group tour, limited to 20 people at most.

Make your own way to the Uffizi Gallery in central Florence and meet your art-expert guide. Then, with your skip-the-line ticket, bypass the long main entrance lines and walk straight inside.

One of the world’s oldest art museums, the Uffizi was built by architect Giorgio Vasari in the 16th century to house government offices. It was only later that the building was used to showcase art collected by Florence’s ruling Medici family, and not until 1769 that it was turned into a public museum.

The repository of more 1,500 works dating from Greek times to the 18th century, the core of the Uffizi is its unmissable collection of Renaissance art. Your tour concentrates on these, as your guide leads you around the highlights of the Renaissance rooms, home to great works by Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and others.

Enter the spectacular Botticelli Room and wonder at his The Birth of Venus and Primavera as your guide explains their composition and meaning, and the nature of Botticelli’s genius.

Then, continue to see masterpieces such as da Vinci’s breathtaking Annunciation, Michelangelo’s Doni Tondo and works by Rafael. Throughout, your guide will recount fascinating insights into the lives of the artists in question, and tell stories about the patrons who contributed to the magnificent museum.

During your tour, pay a visit to the Uffizi's rooftop terrace and soak up its gorgeous views of the Arno River, Ponte Vecchio bridge and Piazza degli Uffizi, the museum’s statue-lined inner courtyard.

Your tour ends inside the museum, leaving you free to stay and explore independently until closing time. Alternatively, exit the museum after your tour ends to explore more of Florence.

Designed by Giorgio Vasari, the Uffizi was originally built to house Florence’s judiciary offices, but was gradually filled with art by the Medici family, the city’s medieval rulers. After they lost power in the 18th century, the palace became a museum.

Evening Tour with Aperitivo or Dinner Upgrade (Tuesdays only, July to September):If you’ve chosen an evening tour of the Uffizi Gallery, why not upgrade to enjoy an aperitivo or dinner afterward? When your tour ends, follow your guide to a restaurant in nearby Piazza della Signoria, one of the world’s most beautiful squares.
Then, say farewell to your guide and savor a classic Italian aperitivo. Sip on a drink such as a glass of prosecco and enjoy snacks such as focaccine (Italian scones).

Alternatively, upgrade to enjoy a delicious 4-course dinner. Gaze over the illuminated square as you enjoy dishes such as pasta and roasted pork (see the Itinerary for a sample menu), served with mineral water. (Other drinks at own expense).

After relaxing over dinner, make your own way back to your hotel.

This unique Florence tour is limited to five cars (with 15 people total), ensuring you'll enjoy a small-group experience.

Fiat 500s sprung onto the Italian motoring scene in the late 1950s as a stylish yet affordable vehicle. Ever popular, modern Fiat 500s are frequent sights on Florence’s streets, but the vintage models are harder to find. Luckily for you, you'll drive one of these rare classics -- a lovingly restored 1960s model -- on your Fiat 500 tour of Tuscany!

After meeting your guide, walk to the garage where you'll find your vintage car ready and waiting. Listen to a safety briefing before taking part in a practice session, aimed to get you familiar with the car’s manual gears.

Following your attentive guide (who will be in constant radio contact throughout the tour), drive through Florence’s quieter streets and out into the Tuscan hills. First stop is the Church of San Miniato al Monte, perched on a hill overlooking the city. After enjoying the views, step inside the Romanesque structure, and see why many call it Italy’s most beautiful church.

Driving further into Tuscany, pass through quaint villages, attracting smiles from passersby. Enjoy the attention from onlookers as you make several stops for photos, to chat with your guide or to switch drivers if you wish. Before returning, stop for a meal on a private terrace in the hills. Dishes vary, but will always be typically Tuscan. Expect antipasti, featuring delights such as crostini with tomatoes and locally cured salami. It’s a beautiful ending to your day in Tuscany!
