At your arrival at our office your guide will welcome you, and if you're a little early there's be time to use the bathroom, have a drink of coffee or a sip of wine.

You will then head out to Chianti Classico in a super smart comfortable air conditioned coach. Sit back, relax and listen to your guides' comments about the wine region - and get ready to learn about the vineyards, the barrel ageing in the cellars & wine & food pairing a t the 3 wineries we'll now be visiting.

The first winery is Fattoria Montecchio, where we will start with a quick overview of the farm and a good look at the vineyards. Then it’ll be time for our first tasting of 3 different wines and fresh olive oil.

At the next winery, Casa Sola, you’ll see the ancient cellars and learn about the ageing of the wines. Then enjoy another wonderful selection of great reds from Chianti Classico.

At the third winery, Casa Emma, it’ll be time to learn about wine & food pairing. So after briefly enjoying the views we can proceed to the winery restaurant for a typical Tuscan meal consisting of an antipasto (pecorino, prosciutto, salami & bruschetta), some lovely home-made pasta and finally finish off with Cantuccini biscotti - all accompanied by a wine tasting of the winery's fine selection of wines.

The wines tasted during the day are all representative of the area of Chianti Classico, so red wines made from Sangiovese and other red varieties. You'll also have the opportunity of tasting a Super Tuscan at each winery.

As the third winery visit comes to and end you can get back into the comfort of the coach and we'll head back into the center of Florence, happy and content, with a lot of new knowledge and a great Tuscan wine country experience behind us.
